The Sundas Jim and D’ Sunda were pioneer missionaries in New Guinea, Indonesia among unreached people. They planted hundreds of churches, translated the Bible and started a Bible school. Their life story is most remarkable. Now we have the opportunity of welcoming them to the College of Prayer.

Jim was born in Alabama of immigrant parents from Czeckoslovakia. After Jim and D’ were married they pastored a church and answered God’s call to the mission field. Jim and D’ have four grown children and 7 grandchildren who bring them great joy and satisfaction.

During 39 years of missionary service, Jim and D’ saw God change an entire society of people living in deep darkness bringing them into the light of His hope. They witnessed thousands of people burning their fetishes and charms, turning away from their fear of evil spirits to worship the Living God.

Jim & D’ retired from official missionary service, but they certainly continue serving God and His people. It will be an honor to have them at the COP!
